My eyes were fixed on Bartin Creek as it silently flowed in the darkness. I must be somewhere on the street with the hanging vines. I was wandering in the night through the completely empty streets of Bartin. Outside of all the doors, windows, drawn curtains, lowered gates, and closed wooden shutters. Looking for traces of him in Bartin. Walking along streets that he had once walked, looking as he had looked at the slowly flowing Bartin Creek while leaning on the metal railing of a bridge. I missed him. I wanted him to come suddenly around some corner and for us to embrace.
